Ramlala, seated in the sanctum sanctorum of Ram temple, was installed on the swing from Friday. Devotees were delighted to see Ramlala Sarkar seated on the swing. The trust also started a free bhandaara for Ram devotees near the pilgrim facility center on Friday. This bhandaara will continue daily till Rakshabandhan.
According to Acharya Satyendra Das, the chief priest of Ramlala, Ramlala has been installed on the swing for 11 days from Panchami to Purnima, in accordance with the tradition of the beginning and end of the festival.

In keeping with the dignity, a three feet high, two feet long and one feet wide silver swing for Ramlala was made last year. Ramlala is seated on this swing along with his brothers.
