If the investigation progresses in this direction, then the sources of income along with the properties of the accused SP leader will also be investigated. According to sources, a special team has been formed for this, which is investigating from different angles.
The case of gang rape of a teenager in Bhadarsa of Purakalandar police station area has gained momentum after it was raised in the assembly. After the arrest of the accused, their properties will be investigated, action of bulldozing illegal constructions will be taken and now investigation can be conducted against the accused on the lines of ED. For this, apart from police and revenue department, special teams can also be formed for investigation.
According to sources, the administration has started working in this direction. The properties registered in the name of SP leader Moeed Khan, income from shops under his control, lands and other sources are being looked into. The team is also keeping an eye on his family and relatives. The investigation can also reach his bank accounts, sources of income and properties registered in his name. However, the officials are avoiding speaking openly in this matter, but discussions about it are rife inside.
CO Ayodhya Ashutosh Tiwari said that many other sources of income of the accused SP leader have come to light. Apart from the bakery, he also earned from other sources including rented shops and income from political background. Therefore, the case will also be investigated from the ED angle.

So far this year, 14 cases of rape and sexual harassment of minor girls have been reported in the district. For the first time, the government and administration have taken such strict action, which will set an example in the future as well.
