Radha Laxmi has received an invitation to attend the flag hoisting ceremony of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Radha has set a new record of highest banking transaction in Uttar Pradesh in the last three years.
The eight Lakhpati Didi from Uttar Pradesh who have been invited to Delhi on the occasion of Independence Day on 15th August, include Lakhpati Didi Radha Laxmi from Ayodhya. Radha has also been invited to the flag hoisting ceremony of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi. The story of the life of Lakhpati Didi Radha is also interesting. Her journey from Bhubaneswar in Odisha to Ayodhya in UP seems like a dream. Originally from Odisha, Radha fell in love with Prem, i.e. Prem Prakash Upadhyay from Ayodhya. After a love marriage, she came here to Milkipur. After coming here, it has been almost three years since she has been serving the common people at the Public Service Center of Bank of Baroda. In these three years, she has achieved the top position in UP by doing the highest banking transaction of Rs 2 crore every month. Now, the eight Lakhpati Didi from UP who have been invited to the flag hoisting ceremony of Prime Minister Modi include Radha Laxmi from Milkipur in Ayodhya.
Lakhpati Didi Radha told Amar Ujala that her husband used to work in Orissa. During this time, she fell in love with him and in 2008, both of them had a love marriage in the Jagannath temple of Orissa. Then she came to Milkipur in Ayodhya. She had studied in Oriya language. She was facing problems here because of this.
Understanding her plight, her husband Prem Prakash got her high school and intermediate done again from UP Board in Hindi medium. After this she joined the self-help group. She applied for BC Sakhi of Bank of Baroda. After getting selected, she opened a Jan Seva Kendra in Milkipur itself. Initially, the turnover was five to six lakhs. District Mission Manager of Rashtriya Gramin Ajeevika Mission, Sarita Verma, helped her in this. After this, the banking transaction reached two crore rupees in a month. After this she was honored with many awards.
Radha Lakshmi has also participated in G-20 in Lucknow and Chennai
Radha Lakshmi has also participated in G-20 Lucknow and G-20 Chennai. State Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya has also honored her in Lucknow. Radha gives the credit of these achievements to her husband Prem. She told that her father-in-law has also supported her at every step in her success. Radha has thanked the Prime Minister after being invited to Modi’s flag hoisting ceremony.
She said that Prime Minister Modi is always ready to take women forward. The historic women reservation law was implemented during his tenure. Modi not only cherished the dream of making women across the country lakhpati didis but is also working hard day and night to make it a reality. The result of this is that today half of the country’s population is moving ahead on the path of economic progress. The women of India can never forget this effort of PM Modi. Radha also has close relations with Bansuri Swaraj, daughter of late senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj. She has also been honored with Bansuri in a function in Delhi.
