Superintending Engineer reviewing the RDSS scheme at the office located in Civil Lines.
Ayodhya. Superintending Engineer of Electricity Corporation Ramkumar held a meeting with the officials of the implementing agency carrying out various works under RDSS in the office located in Civil Line. During this, instructions were given to start the five feeders under construction by August 15 at any cost.
In the meeting, the officials informed that under the scheme, a new power house is being built in Valdirai and Kharbadiya of Milkipur. Separate feeders are being made for agricultural work in KLK, Nansa, Benigaddopur, Khandasa and Kumarganj. 88 transformers of 25 and 63 kV capacity are being installed on these. To prevent power theft, 1500 km of AB cable was to be installed, against which the target of 1100 km has been accomplished. 36,000 new poles were to be installed by reducing the distance of electricity poles across the district. In comparison to this, 27,000 new poles have been installed.
The superintending engineer said that to provide relief to electricity consumers in the scorching heat, the work of new feeders should be completed quickly. Installing AB cable will help in preventing electricity theft. This important work should also be completed quickly. He appealed to the consumers to increase the load of the connection accordingly to use more electricity, so that the department can get a basis to increase the capacity of the transformer. Along with this, consumers should also get the benefit of good electricity. Project Manager Dharni Kumar of the implementing agency, district in-charge Neeraj Srivastava, Anoop Dubey etc. were present in the meeting.
