Ayodhya. Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi said that we have to give the valuable heritage of nature to the coming generations. During the Corona period, we had to face a huge shortage of oxygen. Plant trees so that our children do not face such problems.
The Agriculture Minister was addressing the function after planting a sapling under the ‘One tree in the name of mother’ public campaign in Sahulara of Milkipur on Saturday. He said that through the Heritage Garden, an effort is being made to connect trees and the heritage of our ancestors. We all love our mother very much. In such a situation, every person must plant a tree in her name.
If 28 crore people of the state take the responsibility of planting 10 saplings each, then in the coming time, nature will improve a lot through 280 crore plants. He said that under the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign, a mother forest will be constructed near the international stadium in Dabhasemar.
Rudauli MLA Ramchandra Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, a plantation campaign is being run on a large scale across India today. DM Chandra Vijay Singh said that all the officers will make this campaign successful and achieve the target. 39.79 lakh plants will be planted in the district. 824 plants prepared from cuttings and seeds of heritage trees were planted in the heritage garden of Sahulara.
CDO Rishiraj said that the target given to the district will be achieved through 26 departments. Targets have been set for all departments. BJP District President Sanjeev Singh said that every person must plant one or more saplings in the name of his family members.
On this occasion, Kamakhya Dham Nagar Panchayat Chairman Shitala Prasad Shukla, Divisional Forest Officer Pranav Jain, Namami Gange Project Coordinator Dr. K Korango, Forest Conservator Sameer Kumar, SDM Rajiv Ratan Singh, Project Director RP Singh and Sub Divisional Forest Officer KN Sudhir were present.
