The new District Magistrate Chandra Vijay Singh will reach Ayodhya on Monday. He can take charge here on Monday evening or Tuesday morning.
On assuming charge, the new District Magistrate will pay his respects to Ram Lalla at Ram Janmabhoomi and will also visit Hanumangarhi. DM Singh is a 2012 batch IAS officer. Till now he was posted as the District Magistrate of Sonbhadra.
Before this, he has been the DM of Firozabad. He has also held the post of MD of Madhyanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam. He has also discharged responsibilities as CDO Jhansi. He is originally from Meerut.
