Ayodhya. Chief Secretary Manoj Singh said that the Sawan Jhula fair and Kanwar Yatra will be monitored by the ATS and STF. The fair and the yatra will be live streamed using drone cameras. NDRF and SDRF teams will be deployed for the safety of the devotees bathing in the Saryu.
The Chief Secretary and DGP were talking to reporters after reviewing the preparations for the fair and the yatra in the auditorium of the Ayodhya Development Authority on Sunday. During this, the Chief Secretary said that if antisocial elements try to create any kind of mischief in these religious events, strict action will be taken. All the officers will try to ensure that the lakhs of devotees who come here for the Sawan fair leave with a good experience. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also ordered that better arrangements should be made here for the devotees.
He said that on the routes of Kanwar Yatra, arrangements for food stalls, drinking water and food are made by the devotees for the devotees. It will be ensured that these are not set up on the roads. These should be set up only at a proper distance from the highway and footpath. 25 help centers will be established for the convenience of the devotees. There will be arrangement of oxygen along with medicines in the medical camps. Carpet will be laid at slippery places. DGP Prashant Kumar said that there will be tight security arrangements during the fair. For this adequate security force will be deployed. Maximum technology will be used in the security system. CCTV cameras will be installed at various places.
