Ayodhya. A meeting of the District Mineral Foundation Trust was held in the Collectorate Auditorium under the chairmanship of DM Nitish Kumar. The DM reviewed 11 works previously approved under the Foundation. Basic Education Officer Santosh Rai informed about the progress of the project worth Rs 124.34 lakh approved for setting up smart classes in 120 secondary and council schools of the district in the year 2023.
During this time, it was decided to release Rs 30 lakh from the District Mineral Foundation item out of the estimated cost of Rs 40.96 lakh shown in the proposal presented for the construction of a multi-purpose hall near the multi-level parking road.
The DM directed SDM Sadar, Sohawal and Rudauli to select the land of the village society for the construction of open gym, park and community site for social and economic development in 20 villages of mineral affected areas and provide proposals. Rudauli MLA Ramchandra Yadav, ADM Finance Mahendra Singh, Deputy Divisional Forest Officer, Additional Chief Medical Officer, Mining Officer and Mining Inspector were present in the meeting.
