This time in the month of Saavan, there was a long queue of devotees to see the grandeur of Ram Lalla in the divine Ram temple. During this time, about 35 lakh devotees attended. While devotees from every corner of the country reached the court of Ram Lalla, devotees from America, Sri Lanka and Nepal also attended the court of Ram Lalla.
This was the first Sawan swing festival of Ramlala in the grand temple. On Sawan Shukla Panchami, i.e. 7th August, Ramlala and his four brothers were seated on a silver swing. Ramlala’s chief priest Acharya Satyendra Das said that he has seen Ramlala swinging in a tent as well. Remembering that day brings tears to his eyes even today. The happiness that one gets after seeing the grandeur and splendor of his idol’s court is indescribable.
