Ayodhya. The health department has also started preparations for the 14th Kosi Parikrama. To serve the devotees arriving for the Parikrama Fair, 15 treatment centers will be set up at various places where doctors and health workers will be deployed shift wise. At the same time, 50 beds have also been reserved in three other hospitals of the district.
There will be 14 Kosi Parikrama on 9th November and Panchkosi Parikrama on 12th November. During this period, thousands of devotees from every corner of the state and country including the district reach Ayodhya. For this, the district administration is making preparations on a large scale. At the same time, preparations are also being made to provide better health services for the huge crowd arriving. The health department has drawn up a blueprint for this.
One treatment center each will be built at Nayaghat, Saket Petrol Pump, Mouni Baba, Darshannagar, Halkara Purva, Naka Underpass, Sai Data Kuti, Sahadatganj Hanumangarhi, Guptarghat, Jamthara, Opium Kothi, Udaya Public School and Laxmanghat on Parikrama Marg.
At the same time, a temporary hospital with eight beds will be built at Pakkaghat. Here too, there will be 24-hour availability of doctors, paramedical staff and medical equipment and medicines. A fair control room will be set up in Government Shri Ram Hospital from where the activities of all the treatment centers and temporary hospital will be monitored.
On the other hand, other hospitals in the district have also been alerted to deal with any emergency. Wards of 20 beds each in Medical College and District Hospital and 10 beds in Shri Ram Hospital will be reserved separately. One ambulance each will also be deployed at all treatment centers and temporary hospitals.
Eight doctors each were sought from other districts also
City Health Officer Dr. Rammani Shukla said that apart from the district, doctors and paramedical staff from other districts will also be deployed in the parikrama. For this, eight doctors, pharmacists and wardboys have been sought from other districts of the division.
Action will be taken against those who are negligent
Preparations for the Parikrama Fair are in the final stages. The treatment centers will be active a day in advance. Instructions have been given to keep sufficient quantity of medicines and medical equipment in working condition at all the centres. Action will be taken against those who commit any kind of negligence.
